In the last weeks of 2023, we worked on the testing of the next-generation battery pack (NGBP) as well as the fitment of the new powertrain. The tests on the NGBP took a little longer due to some unexpected results. However, with some minor changes, we solved the problems and kept the delay to a minimum. Furthermore, we continued our work on the placement of a new powertrain. To place the electromotors we have to adjust our tubular frame. To verify that our adjusted frame still adheres to our strength requirements we are running simulations together with Brabant Engineering. The first simulation results look promising and we hope to move to the manufacturing phase of this project quickly. Besides the frame, we also worked on the cable routing of the powertrain and the cooling systems.
