At the beginning of this year, we received the strength simulation results of the adjusted tubular frame. Unfortunately, these simulations showed that our adjustments would not meet our safety standards. Therefore, we decided to manufacture a new frame for the new powertrain instead of adjusting the current one. Luckily, we can keep designing time relatively short because the new frame is similar to the old frame. We hope to start production in mid-February and have the product finished before the powertrain is delivered!
In addition to our tubular frame project, great progress has been made in the development of the NGBP (Next Generation Battery Pack). The small improvements that were suggested in December are now being implemented, paving the way for the final stages of assembly. When these improvements are in place, we anticipate successfully clearing all reliability tests, allowing us to move ahead and get the Revolution drive ready!
