This month was focused on eliminating our humidity problems in the battery pack. Our test plan was structured such that we first re-created the problem in a controlled environment. After creating the situation, we started implementing different solutions until it solved the insulation problem. During multiple weeks of testing, we mentioned that we already found a possible solution which improves the humidity control. However, we noticed that it was still not up to the standard we require. Even though the problem is not yet solved, we are moving in the right direction with these solutions. We hope to continue the tests and find a proper solution in the upcoming month.
Another project we have been working on last month was the integration of the refrigerant loop. This month we continued with this project and did the final preparations for the functional test of this loop. Most of the preparation was done in collaboration with NRF who supplied us with testing equipment for the test. The outcome of this test will tell us if all basic functionalities work and if the integration went according to plan.
Next month we will focus on solving the humidity problem and performing the refrigerant loop's functional test.
