Today, the Simon Stevin Symposium took place. Our team got the unique chance to present a case to the participants. The students, mostly future mechanical engineers, had to think of a solution for a problem we proposed them. The problem concerned the cooling of the battery pack while racing with extreme speeds and during fast charging. In both these situations, the great temperature increase of the batteries is not desired. It is not an easy topic to tackle, but the students took care of it well. In the end, each group presented their solution.
After the case, there was the opportunity to have a drink. We spoke with the students and we heard only positive reactions. Overall, it was a successful and amazing day again!
Special thanks to Noud and Marco from our team, who made it possible for InMotion to present this case at the symposium.
