What an amazing weekend it has been! In short: We got our third record in our pocket. This time, the IM/e is also the fastest electric car at TT Circuit Assen.
It started on Thursday evening when we departed for Assen. We prepared the pit box to make it ready for the tests on Friday prior to the record attempt. On Friday, we ran the last tests with our new driver, Jeroen Mul. Jeroen Mul has experience with formula cars but now races for Lamborghini. So it was also the moment to get to know him.
On Saturday, during the Experience Electric Day, at half-past twelve the IM/e went rapidly on track. After 1:43:059 it passed the finish again and that became the new electric lap record at TT Circuit Assen!
We had such fantastic days, we are so proud of the team. The tests and the record attempt went as we planned and we have beautiful images, by Steef de Bakker and Johan van Uden from the team, to remember these times.
